Dear Readers,
As I sat down to type the Editor's letter, the first rain was pouring cats and dogs. Welcome the first summer rain! It appeared to be the answer to the song we sang at a Bible Study meeting "Let it rain, let it rain …" the previous day. It was a welcome relief to the quite dry winter. Full Story Here...

Love Story: They risk their lives to save one's life
After 5 years of dating, our lives had just started for real. We had bought a townhouse, maxed out our credit cards on furniture and were ready to move in. January 2005 we moved the bed first and then put Dewald in - he was too sick on and off for a few months already. Symptoms were cramps, nausea, bloated stomach, indigestion, muscle cramps and headaches. Full Story... |

Deaf Ministries International - Middle East
Our brothers and sisters in Egypt and in particular, Syria are not finding things very easy. The unrest in Egypt is quite worrying as things become more difficult for
Christians in that country. The Deaf are quite vulnerable as they often do not know what is going on. Sobhy (DMI Director) left the country due to threats from the Muslim Brotherhood so our work there is now led by a committeeof 5 or so who administer the meetings and activities throughout the country.
