The aim of the outreach was to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and His grace to the Deaf. We saw how great the need for spiritual care is in the Deaf world. We were heartily welcomed everywhere we visited and when it was time to go, it was very hard to leave. We realized that God was waiting for us at each place we visited. While most flew home (after the 4th DMI Conference in Egypt, October 2008), a small number namely Brenda and Jenny, Ian and Neville, visited Kenya and Uganda en route.
