How can you be happy in Jesus ?
|

While we are still sinners, God still loves us.
We realize and admit that we are sinners.
We repent (turn away from sin) and ask God to forgive us.
We believe in the Lord Jesus and accept Him as our personal Saviour and Lord.
We follow Him and live Godly lives. (Sunday worship, Bible Studies and Fellowships).
God forgives us our sins and remembers our sins no more. Hebrews 8 v 12
Our hearts are cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Revelations 1 v 5b |

Why are Christians, although born-again, not happy ? |
|
| |
E.g. Not happy at work, home, spouse (husband / wife), family, friends, fellow-Christians, where you live, etc. always blame them for your own unhappiness.
NO - they are not the cause of your unhappiness but TURN AND LOOK at yourself - you will find that you are the ONE who is not a happy person inside. |

Unconfessed sin
Unforgiven sin - a) from hurt; b) from rejection, etc.
Others - a) fear; b) guilt; c) anger; d) inferiority (=low self-image), etc. |

TWO things need to be done :- |
|
|
|
Ask God to remove the blindness and to open your eyes so that you will be able to see God.
Allow Him to heal your heart from hurt, fear, guilt, anger, inferiority and depression with His love.
“Happy heart makes face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.” Proverbs 15 v 13
“A cheerful heart is good medicine but a crushed spirit dries up bones.” Proverbs 17 v 22
“He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.” Psalm 24 v 4
“The thief (satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I (Jesus) have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” John 10 v 10 |

Both God and satan plant thoughts in our minds. We need to know the difference between the thoughts planted by God and satan. The thoughts of God is always edifying (building up) and good and positive things of self and others. The thoughts of satan is always destroying (breaking down) and bad, evil, lying and negative things of self and others. The bad thoughts first enter your mind then your heart and then from your mouth. Matthew 12 v 34
- “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthuians 10 v 5
- “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4 v 8
The moment satan's thoughts control our minds, we must REJECT them and REPLACE them with God's thoughts. Then we will experience love, joy, peace and acceptance.

v6. “… You have stayed long enough at this mountain …”
v7. “Break camp and move on. Go to …”
v8. “...Go and occupy it…”
For us Christians : -
v6. “...You have been unhappy long enough at this area of problem…”
v7. “Break it and move on (by faith). Go to areas of hope and victory in Jesus.”
v8. “...Go and take it.” (hope and victory) |

v28. “They saw giants.”
“You saw big problems.”
“Giants” = Big problems / sins
- “I can do everything through Him (Jesus) who gives me strength.” Philippians 4 v 13

“The most important one,” said Jesus, “...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” Mark 12 v 29 - 31
If you love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and love your neighbour, you can love yourself.
YOU WILL SEE GOD AND BE HAPPY IN JESUS
