We, Sias Craig (HoH) and I, have decided to travel to George (town in Western Cape) to evangelise to the Deaf community from 17 - 20 October 2003.  The distance from Gauteng to George is 1,266 km. We went through Colesberg to Graaff-Reinet and on the way we saw the snow on Lootsberg Pass.  For the first time in 46 years of my life I saw this snow - it was very light and so soft (very unusual for Spring in October!)

We then went to George (town) where we visited Trevor (HoH) and Amanda (H) van Tonder. Later George (D) and Marietjie (H) Goosen from Mossel Bay came to join us.  There were 33 people attending “George Gemeente vir die Dowes” (George Fellowship for the Deaf) - 8 hearing and 25 Deaf altogether. 

The Word of God touched their hearts and they are busy building their foundation from the Word of God. Romans 10: 17.  “So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.”  “We must sow the word and what we sow, will we reap.”  Matthew 13: 1 - 18.  We need to pray for George Goosen for knowledge and wisdom from above for his leadership.  Pray also for “George Gemeente vir die Dowes” as well for provision and prosperity in the Name of Jesus Christ.
