About 30 Deafies from the deaf and integrated churches of Jo’burg including eight from Pretoria deaf church attended Jozi 4 Jesus Rally at the Coca Cola Stadium (Ellis Park) on 8th Nov ‘08. Despite the imminent thunderstorms we worshipped together the great number of the other Christians waving the flags with “Jesus” printed on them. It gave us a wonderful awareness of the Body of Christ praising the Lord. Bianca and
Danielle (English interpreters) and Catherine (Afrikaans interpreter) interpreted the service.

Angus Buchan (H) (pictured on top) known for authoring “Faith like potatoes” gave a message. Rain poured during the message which coincided God’s plea to the materialistic and dry souls of the rich Gauteng to come to Jesus and drink the living water of life. God did not whisper but thunder through the pouring rain! We left the stadium soaking wet but happy!
