Here is the news of our holiday in Brisbane, Australia last August. It was so great to see our son, Michael and his family. Our daughter, Debbie's sons, Vaughan and Declan, also came with us. And it was the first time we saw our new grandson, Gideon, now 18 months old and our granddaughter, Hazel, 3½ years old. They loved to sign in Sign Language to us, so cute and we are so proud of them. Michael taught them. Michael has been living in Australia for 10 years now.

They took us to Stradstroke Island for a week and the weather was so blessed and we all spent lots of time together and mostly on the beach.

Before we flew back to South Africa we spent the day braai (BBQ) at Ron & Bronwyn Bothma's home with the three other deaf couples from South Africa, now living in Brisbane. They are Hans-Peter & Karen, Ron & Bronwyn, Carlos & Debbie. Great time with them.

We really enjoyed our holiday there.
