March 17, 2009 - “We would like to inform all of you that we are working towards William Mora (D) from Colombia & Pongsak Watcharasampunkul (D) from Thailand to come to the US from June 30 to August 3. It is hoped that they can visit as many of you as possible in this limited time span. We are planning central meetings in North Carolina and Indiana to make this possible. I know it sounds like a lot of time for them to be in the US but it isn’t that long when we already have eight days booked for two camps from July 19—26. That is if the visas will be issued for both of these fine deaf ministers. William will be going to the US Consulate in
Bogotá at 7:00 am on March 19.”
May 30, 2009 - “We at DMI so appreciate the prayers you all so faithfully offered for William Mora to receive his visa to the US which he did receive. We are now asking for your prayers again as Pongsak Watcharasampunkul will be going to the US Consulate in Chiang Mai,
Thailand on June 1 to apply for his visa to come during the same time that William will be here. Please pray that Pongsak’s visa process will go well and that Pongsak will be allowed the same opportunity to visit churches in the US.”
June 4, 2009 - “Pongsak received his visa
today! Hallelujah! This is incredible and there is even more great news. He received a 10 year visa at that. This means Pongsak will be able to come back to the US as many times as we can afford to bring him for the next ten years. Is that
incredible or what?
I am amazed at how this happened as it is not the norm but I know God does miraculous things because all of your prayers did more even that we could ever have imagined. (Philippians 4:18). I am so looking forward to bringing both William and Pongsak around to visit so many of you who have contributed so much to their salvation and
spiritual growth.
I also want to ask for prayer as I have been asked to take an emergency short trip back to Thailand as requested by the DMI Director Neville Muir. There is a situation where we will be losing the property that we have used as the Centre since 1999. This is requiring us to move the Deaf Church, My Sign Nursery and our Deaf Dorm. This is a very difficult move and will prove to be troublesome in many respects as we are now forced to find a new location that is within our budgets that will also meet our needs. So pray for my safe travel and also for the Lord’s direction to the right location to move to. Thanks! Don’t forget to thank the Lord and Praise Him for providing such a wonderful blessing to Pongsak and DMI too! God bless!”
